As a key enterprise within the Weifang Binhai Economic and Technological Development Zone—the national marine chemical base—Weifang Jiangchang Chemical stood out in this bidding process thanks to its superior product quality and extensive industry experience. Under the terms of the agreement, Weifang Jiangchang Chemical will supply de-icing agents and industrial salt products to key road sections under the jurisdiction of the Ningxia Xi’an Expressway Management Center, with a total procurement volume of 1,200 tons, including 800 tons of environmentally friendly de-icing agents and 400 tons of high-quality industrial salt. These supplies will primarily address icy and snowy road conditions during the winter months, ensuring safe and smooth traffic flow on the region’s expressways throughout the cold season.
The Ningxia Xi’an Expressway Management Center is part of the transportation sector, responsible for the operation, maintenance, and management of national and provincial expressways in the area. Located in the northwest, the region experiences low winter temperatures and frequent snowfall, making road icing a major safety concern that significantly impacts driving conditions and logistics efficiency.
Traditional snow-removal methods are not only inefficient but also pose substantial risks: ordinary industrial salt can cause severe corrosion to roads and bridges and harm surrounding vegetation.
