Weifang Jiangchang Chemical Co., Ltd. has long been dedicated to the brine-based salt chemical industry. Leveraging its own production base within the Weifang Binhai Brine Industrial Park, the company has completed the expansion of a fully automated production line for low-corrosion, environmentally friendly de-icing agents. The new product is now in full-scale, stable mass production.
The core new product of this production run is a calcium–magnesium composite de-icing agent. Relying on an independently developed core process that precisely blends calcium and magnesium chlorides with organic slow-release modifiers, this product achieves equivalent ice-melting and anti-freezing performance while reducing pavement and metal component corrosion by 62% and soil salinization by 58%. It is suitable for road de-icing operations in extremely cold regions ranging from -10°C to -35°C and is widely used in highway networks, airports and ports, municipal roads, and mining and industrial sites for winter anti-freeze and dust suppression applications.
At the production end, a comprehensive quality-control system is in place. The plant is equipped with 20 complete sets of testing equipment, including purity analyzers, heavy-metal detectors, and pavement-corrosion testers, and the laboratory operates a 7×24-hour self-inspection regime. Each batch of products is accompanied by a third-party SGS quality-assurance report, ensuring end-to-end traceability and control throughout the entire production process.
The company currently offers a complete product portfolio. In addition to its eco-friendly composite de-icing agents, it also mass-produces three major categories—calcium chloride, magnesium chloride, and refined industrial salt—covering multiple purity grades for industrial, food-grade, and feed-grade applications. With tens of thousands of tons of inventory readily available, the company can reliably fulfill both domestic and international orders.
